The Other Side of Reality
Reality
maybe defined as real existence, all that exists or happens, a type of
existence, totality of real things. This may be a dictionary definition of
reality, but what actually is reality.
Some
philosophical schools of thought say that for something to be real, it has to
exist in the now. So can you regard all
that happened in the past as not real? What about events in the future? Can’t
you consider them as real before experiencing its reality in the present? I
fault this view because it is coined from a third person perspective ruled by
time and limited by space, which infact limits the already limited theory to
the ambits of this time ruled sphere.
Another
view that is widely accepted is that for anything to be real, we must be able
to see it, feel it and touch it. But elementary physics tells us that the color
we actually see isn’t the real color, but a reflection of another color that
isn’t absorbed by the object. This explains why under a different kind of light
the color of an object changes. Another typical example is air. In a closed
room, you may not notice the presence of air because you cannot touch or feel
air, but when the air is in motion by virtue of a fan or ventilation, you cannot
deny its reality.
What then is reality? What is that
side of reality that makes it actually real? How can you know what is real?
What isn’t ?
To answer this question, we need to
understand some basic ‘realities’ about reality
Beyond Time
When
moses encountered The lord in the burning bush, and he asked whom should I say
sent me, the lord replied, “… I AM THAT I AM …”(Exod 3:14) This was a remarkable statement the Lord used
to describe his reality. I AM is beyond time. Whatever exists now( or has
existed before), and would with time cease to exist, I dare to say unto you
reader IS NOT REALLY REAL.
Beyond the Senses
Durable
Reality is durable. It not only stands the test of time or is
beyond time, it stands at the end of time. Everyone is talking about the end of
the world, about the great destruction that may occur. Some have said the end
would come by winter 2012, even if I or you do not agree. There is one thing we
all must agree at, and that is the end will surely come. This piece is not
about the end, but about Reality (what will remain at the end of time). The
bible supports the theory of the end, it states that “Heaven and earth shall
pass away…”(Math 24:35) the earth shall pass away, it is indeed passing away.
The question now is ,what will remain after the passing? I will answer this

The Reality of God
Who is God? How do you know he
exists? Is he real? Or is he just a fabrication of our imagination? Going by
scientific techniques , it can never be proved that there is a God. Science
tries to explain the unexplained by postulating theories. So far , there is no
theory that proves that there is a God. It talks about a Big Bang, it talks
about Evolution. These theories and many more try to explain how things came
into be but not who brought them into being. They talk about the various laws
that govern the universe, the talk about planetary order, they talk about the
solar system and the galaxies but do not talk about the originator of all. Well,
they actually cannot, Because the Creator is beyond science. He is beyond the
senses, while science thrives on the senses. So how can we find this being that
we cannot see, touch or feel?
Firstly, by looking at the things
that are seen, felt or touched. Within and upon all the works of nature are the
finger prints of a supreme being.

From the sailing stones of Death Valley in
Nevada ,Usa (mysterious moving stones of a packed-mud desert), to the Aurora
Borealis(naturally occurring lights that create intriguing and spectacular
displays in the sky), To the Bermuda triangle, to the great falls of victoria
and many more clearly shows the eternal power and Godhead of a creator. “For
the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being
understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so
that they are without excuse:” (Rom 1:20). By looking at nature, you can tell
there is a creator.

You may not be able to touch or feel him. But the many
wonders of the earth testify unto you that there is a God. You may not be able
to explain it, but you cannot deny it.
Secondly, you
can see God by your spirit. For God is a spirit. Why some find it difficult to
believe that there is a God is because they look for God in the physical realm.
They long to hear a thunderous voice, to see a burning mountain, to see an old
man sitting on a throne.

God is none of these. And as long as you are looking for physical attributes you
can relate with, you will never find God. God is a spirit and you can only
relate with God by your spirit. Not your mind or your senses. Yeshua in a
discussion with a woman from Samaria said, “Ye worship ye know not what: we
know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.” (John 4:22) .

Many people
call God in prayer and worship just like the people of Samaria, but not many
know who they call in prayer and worship. You have to “know” that there is a God before you can relate in
prayer or worship. Without this “knowledge” you cannot worship God. And if you
are engaging in worship without knowledge, or for the sake of religion I would
say unto you like Yeshua said unto the woman “Ye worship ye know not what”
What
kind of knowledge are my talking about? It’s not the knowledge you get from
reading booking or from theology school. It’s The complete and absolute knowledge,
it is revelation knowledge. A knowledge that is acquired without any material
medium. It is the knowledge of the human spirit. It is only via the human
spirit that you can truly “know” that there is a God. For God is a Spirit. And
truly the human spirit knows there is a living God. The mind may not be able to
comprehend it but the human spirit knows and craves for a relationship with a
living God. And through the ages man has continued to seek for the Infinite
Creative Intelligence via diverse means….
You
cannot talk about God without talking about the jews. Like Yeshua(Jesus), I also say ,
“salvation is of the Jews”. The Jewish people are one of the oldest races in
the world. They “were” the custodians of the oracles of God. They had “the
revelation” of the Infinite Creative Intelligence. If you are seeking the one
true God, the creator of earth and the heavens, I suggest you start your search
with the Hebrews. And every true philosopher and researcher that seeks the
truth about the Infinite Creative Intelligence, should begin with Israel. The
Jewish people “were” and still are(in a certain way), significant in this time
ruled sphere. They cannot be wiped out. They have been preserved for a reason
for centuries, even the holocaust could not wipe them off….
King David the Jew wrote in
one of his many psalms, “For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he
is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the nations are idols: but
the LORD made the heavens. (Psalm 96:4 -5). in
king David’s analogy between The LORD and the gods of the nations
surrounding Israel, He makes a remarkable statement that the gods of the
nations are idols. The word idol is translated from the Hebrew word “eliyl”,
which also means good for nothing, or thing of nought, having no substance ,
reality or existence. In other words the gods of the nations are unreal, but
the lord made the heavens and the earth.
The infinite
Creative Intelligence demonstrated his power to Israel by splitting the red
sea. Imagine a sea with a maximum depth of about 9970 Ft. was split wide enough
for over 5million people to comfortably pass through without panicking that it
would come back. The waves must have been far far wide apart that even the
Egyptians that pursued them didn’t give a thought to it. Perhaps, They thought they
were between the shores of two seas. What an awesome demonstration of power! To
even think that water could be standing like glass walls over 9000ft high is
mind blowing. His power is beyond description. The Infinite Creative
Intelligence is indeed all powerful.
David
the jew also gave another description about his person, he said “Whither shall
I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up
into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.
If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the
sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.If I
say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about
me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day:
the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.”(psalm 139:7-12) this is
another awesome description of the personality of the God of the Hebrews. The
presence of the infinite creative intelligence is everywhere. You cannot run
away from him. If you go into space, he is there. Even if you decide to live in
the sea, he would be waiting for you right in the water. In as much as his
presence is everywhere, his manifested presence is not everywhere. His manifested
presence is seen when he demonstrates his presence. He may not show up his
presence everywhere, but he is sure there and you can find out if your dare to
believe him anywhere, or when you make a demand on his power or presence
anywhere,The Infinite Creative
Intelligence will surely show up.
The nature of
God is Love. God is not an old man with long white beards carrying a big stick
to strike people that do wrong. He is not wicked. He is bigger than that. When Adam
and eve disobeyed him in the garden , he still came down looking for them and
even killed an animal and used the skin to make coats to cover them up.
(Genesis 3:21) any one that claims to know the Infinite Creative Intelligence
must walk in love. For he that doesn’t know the father of love. Love is the
greatest power of all. It is the power of God. If you have tried all and all
have failed. Try love. It will never fail. He makes the rain to fall on the
evil and on the good. He is not wicked. He is love.
Now that we
understand his power, presence and nature, the big question is how can one get
to God? So many people have sought God through different ways. What is the way
to God? Philosophers through the years have said that there is a way. Buddah
sought the truth(reality) all his life, he said "All compound things are
subject to vanish. Strive with earnestness!" , in other words he said ,
everything you see is not really real, look for the real thing. Before he died
he made a remarkable statement , “I am still searching for the truth”. Buddah himself was still searching for the
ultimate reality(truth).
To find this way we shall again place
our search light on the Hebrews. The prophet Isaiah in about 740bc , talked
about one that would prepare the way, “The voice of him that crieth in the
wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the LORD, make straight in the desert a
highway for our God.” This high way he talks about I believe, is not only the highway of the lord or for
the lord, but a highway to Lord
This prophecy
was fulfilled many years later, when a man called john the Baptist came on the
scene in isreal. John the divine bore record of this, “He said, I am the voice
of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the
prophet Esaias.”(john 1: 23). So john the baptizer was to show us who or what
this way was. Indeed he did. He testified of a Jewish man called Yeshua(Jesus in
greek). Jesus(Yeshua) put a rest to argument when he made the most remarkable
statement to ever come out from the lips of a man. He said, “… I am the way,
the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me”
What audacious
words! No man ever spoke like that. Its ok if you said there is a way. its
alright to say there is a truth. One could understand if you said, there is a
life. But to make specific, definite articles and attribute them to yourself
means only one of two things, either the man Yeshua was mad! Or he was a god!
Indeed he was! He was the truth that Buddha was seeking, The way that had
eluded many for centuries, the life that philosophers pondered about . If you
have sought God through diverse means, I urge you to look at Jesus(Yeshua). No
intercessor, no personality, no technique, no process , no system of belief or
ritual can take you to the Infinite Creative Intelligence , Except Jesus(Yeshua).
